A/Professor Max Guazzato

A/Prof. Max Guazzato grew up in Milan, Italy where he completed a Dental Technician diploma and graduated from the University of Milan with a Bachelor Degree in Dentistry with Honours. To further his knowledge, A/Prof. Guazzato completed a PhD at Sydney University in the field of Zirconia and dental ceramics. He then went on to complete a three-year clinical doctorate in Prosthodontics and is registered as a specialist Prosthodontist. A/Prof. Guazzato also has a dental fellowship by examination and is a prosthodontics special field member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. and a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
A/Prof. Guazzato has been lecturing and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects at the University of Sydney since 2001 and is a well sought after lecturer internationally in the topics of dental ceramic, cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. His current fields of research are: surface treatment of dental ceramics; tissue-implant interface clinical outcomes of all-ceramic materials. A/Prof Guazzato has published two books and 32 peer-reviewed articles in dental and medical scientific journals. In addition to his commitment with the University of Sydney, A/Prof Guazzato's clinical expertise covers all facets of oral rehabilitation from bone grafting and implant placement, to fixed/removable Prosthodontics and laboratory procedures.
Dr. Johnson Chou
DClinDent (Pros), BDS, MRACDS (Pros)
Dr. Johnson Chou was born in Taiwan and grew up in Auckland. He graduated from University of Otago (New Zealand) with a Bachelor Degree in Dentistry. He then went on to complete a three year Clinical Doctorate in Prosthodontics at Sydney University to become a registered specialist Prosthodontist. Dr Chou is a prosthodontic special field member of the Royal Australian College.
Dr. Chou has special interest in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and its management with regard to pain and parafunction. In addition his work focuses on anterior aesthetics, bonding, veneers and crowns. Dr. Chou also has experience in orthodontics and he works with Specialist Orthodontists to assist patients who have TMJ pain, muscular pain, dysfunction as well as placing aesthetic bondings on front teeth at the end of orthodontic treatment for teeth. Dr. Chou finds it important to be up to date and he attends continuing education courses in the field of cosmetic dentistry, dental Implantology and surgery, orthodontics, occlusion, temporomandibular joint disorder and endodontics. He also lectures privately at continuing education courses in the field of the TMJ and composite resins for front teeth.
Dr. Sravan Chunduru

Dr. Sravan Chunduru grew up in Melbourne, Australia. He graduated from University of Adelaide with a Bachelor Degree in Dentistry. He then went on to complete a three year Clinical Doctorate in Prosthodontics at Sydney University to become a registered specialist Prosthodontist. Dr Chunduru is a Prosthodontic special field member of the Royal Australian College.
Dr. Chunduru worked numerous years in rural Victoria allowed him to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex restorative needs. Dr. Chunduru has special interest in the management of teeth with complex needs, worn dentition, restoring missing teeth with removable dentures, bridges or implants.
Dr. Chunduru works also as a clinical educator at the University of Sydney providing supervision for dental students in the field of Prosthodontics.
